In a complete renovation of a bayside A-frame home on Fire Island, Bromley Caldari turned a seasoned beach rental into a sleek hide-out. Rethinking the iconic 1960s A-frame form, architects R. My best friend, Rachel, caught a fish at the lake in 2003. She was using bread to bait them. I didn’t have the patience, so I wandered off to find shell fossils or maybe smooth, flat stones good for skipping across the water. The next thing I knew she was squealing in excitement and we were all running over to see what she had caught.
This is one of my first memories, and definitely my first fish-related memory.
Three years ago, on April 22nd, 2011, Rachel accidentally overdosed on medication originally prescribed to her mother. She was found dead the next morning. I still haven’t really dealt with it, but I like to use her story to try and tell people not to abuse prescription drugs. Drugs in general, really, but especially drugs that weren’t prescribed to you.
At the very least, do your research on the drug you plan to take. Here are some websites you can use to read up on the drug and view first-hand accounts of experiences while using it.
